It is the department within the Spanish general administration responsible for proposing and carrying out government policy in the areas of industrial development and innovation, trade policy, small and medium sized enterprises, energy and mining, tourism, telecommunications, audiovisual media and the development of the Information Society.

由中华人民共和国工业和信息化部、国家发展和改革委员会、财政部、商务部、国家工商行政管理总局、国家质量监督检验检疫总局、中国银行业监督管理委员会、广东省人民政府和西班牙王国工业旅游贸易部共同主办的第六届中国国际中小企业博览会暨中西中小企业博览会（简称第六届中博会），将于2009年9月22日至25日在中国广东省广州市隆重举行。
第六届中博会计划展览面积超过10万平方米，参展企业来自包括香港、澳门、台湾在内的中国34个省、市、自治区和西班牙王国以及世界其他国家，企业总数将超过4000家，重点设电子信息、家用电器、机械装备、节能环保、消费类及建材类产品等行业展区，专设西班牙馆、国际馆和港澳台馆等境外企业展馆，预计参观人数将超过20万人次。
第六届中博会将为中国和世界各国的中小企业提供一个展示、交流、交易、合作的平台，是中国乃至全球最大的以中小企业为服务对象的国际性博览会。
西班牙王国作为第六届中博会的主宾国，将组织生物技术、机床、零部件及工业设备、信息技术、农业产品、能源与气候变化及环境、旅游、特许经营、工程及建筑和教育等十大行业的企业前来参展参会，向中国和世界展示西班牙的现代化和高科技以及特色文化。
为此，第六届中国国际中小企业博览会暨中西中小企业博览会组委会向世界各国企业界人士发出诚挚邀请：

Dear Sir or Madam,
The 6th China International SME Fair (the 6th CISMEF), jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the People’s Republic of China, together with the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, the Kingdom of Spain, is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, from 22nd to 25th September, 2009.
With an exhibition floor space totaling over 100,000 sq m., the 6th CISMEF expects to bring some 4,000 Chinese and overseas exhibitors. The Chinese exhibitors shall represent their markets respectively from 34 provinces alike in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Industry exhibition areas cover electronics & IT products, household appliances, mechanical equipment, energy & environment products, consumption goods and construction materials. Three exhibition halls are set for overseas exhibitors, namely the Spanish Hall, the International Hall, and the Hall for Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan. The number of visits is estimated to be over 200,000.
The 6th CISMEF aims at building up a platform for SMEs in China and the world at large to display, exchange, trade and cooperate. It is so far the largest international exposition targeted at SMEs.
As the co-host country, the Kingdom of Spain will bring to the event enterprises from sectors as follows, biotech, machine tools, components and industrial materials, IT, agricultural products, energy, climate change and environment, tourism, franchising, engineering and architecture, and education, showcasing the country’s modernization, advanced technology and unique culture.

The Organizing Committee of China International SME Fair & China-Spain SME Fair 中国国际中小企业博览会简介
中国国际中小企业博览会（简称中博会）由中华人民共和国工业和信息化部、国家发展和改革委员会、财政部、商务部、国家工商行政管理总局、国家质量监督检验检疫总局、中国银行业监督管理委员会、广东省人民政府联合主办，每年9月在中国广东省广州市举行。
中博会得到中国各省（市、自治区）政府和企业的大力支持和积极响应。自2004年以来，中博会已成功地举办了五届，国内外参展参会企业累计超过15，000家，前来参展参观的海内外观众累计超过110万人次，参展企业涉及电子电器、机械制造、纺织服装、食品饮料、医药生物、建材家具、玩具礼品、箱包鞋帽等众多领域，是中国最大的中小企业展示、交流、交易、合作博览会。
举办地中国广东省，是中国经济实力最强、经济最具活力的省份之一，综合经济实力居全国首位，是享誉全球的“世界工厂”和“贸易中心”。广东省的制造业发达，已形成电子资讯、电器机械及专用设备、纺织服装、食品饮料、建筑材料、石油化工、森工造纸、医药、汽车等九大产业，完整的产业链配套是“广东制造”的突出优势；同时,广东又是中国的贸易大省，举世闻名的“中国进出口商品交易会”一年两届在广东省的省会广州市举行，广东历来就是世界商品进入中国和中国商品走向世界的南大门。
中博会先后与法国、意大利、日本和韩国联合举办，有效促进了这些国家在经济、文化领域与中国的交流与合作。根据2007年亚欧会议中小企业部长会议发表的《北京宣言》中国政府作出的承诺，从第五届中博会起设立了“亚欧中小企业合作交流馆”，邀请亚欧会议成员组团参会参展，中博会的国际化特色得到进一步加强。
2008年中博会通过全球展览业协会(UFI)的认证，成为全球UFI认证展会之一。
中国国际中小企业博览会事务局是中博会的执行机构，在中博会组委会秘书处领导下，负责承办中博会的具体事务。
About CISMEF
China International SME Fair (CISMEF), slated for each September in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the People’s Republic of China.
CISMEF has won strong support from governments and enterprises from various provinces / municipalities / autonomous regions in China. Successfully held for 5 editions since 2004, the Fair has attracted altogether over 15,000 exhibitors and 1.1 million visits from around the world. Exhibitors come from various industries including electronics, household appliances, machine-making, textiles and garments, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, construction materials, furniture, toys and gifts, cases, bags, headwear and footwear, etc. It is the largest ever exhibition in China for SMEs to display, exchange, trade and cooperate.
Guangdong, the province where it settles, is one of the most powerful and dynamic economies in China. Ranking first in terms of overall economic strength, it is known as the “World Factory” and “Trading Center”. Besides, Guangdong is famous for its advanced manufacturing, excelling in its nine pillar industries, i.e. electronics & IT, household appliances & mechanical equipment, textiles & garments, food & beverage, construction materials, petrochemicals, and lumber & paper-making. The outstanding advantage of products “made in Guangdong” lies in the area’s complete industrial chain. Moreover, Guangdong is among the largest trading provinces in China. The renowned “China Import & Export Fair” is biannually held in Guangzhou, its capital. Therefore, Guangdong has long been regarded as China’s southern gateway for world commodities to enter the country and those domestic to go global.
The previous co-host countries of CISMEF are France, Italy, Japan and Korea. The co-hosting has boosted the economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and those co-host countries. According to the Beijing Declaration, issued during the ASEM SMEs Ministerial Meeting in 2007, a “Hall for ASEM SMEs Cooperation and Exchange” has been set up since the 5th CISMEF in 2008. Enterprises from the ASEM members are invited to the event, making the Fair even more international.
CISMEF became a “UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) Approved Event” in 2008.
The Bureau of China International SME Fair is the executive organizer of the Fair, under the supervision of the CISMEF Organizing Committee Secretariat. 展会主题

琶洲展馆是目前亚洲规模最大、设施最先进、档次最高的展览中心，能满足各种展览的要求。室内展示面积12万m2，单个展厅面积1万m2左右，设计合理，展厅无柱空间大，特装效果好，多个展览可同时举办而互不干扰。展馆坐落在珠江之滨，周边环境优美，交通便利，东西南北均有城市干道，多路公共汽车和地铁在此设有站点。
Located by the Pearl River with beautiful landscape and convenient transportation, Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is at present the largest, the most modernized and the top-class of its kind in Asia, meeting the needs of various types of exhibitions. It possesses a total indoor exhibiting area of 120,000 sq m on two floors, with approximately 10,000 sq m in each well-designed exhibition hall. 参展须知
Instructions for Exhibitors
■申请表所填内容为中博会会刊内容依据。请参展企业将参展申请表、产品目录、企业法人营业执照及品牌注册证复印件发至组委会境外招商招展部。
■The exhibition catalog will be based on the information provided in the submitted application forms. Please send the application form, product catalogs, a photocopy of the business license and trade mark registration certificate to the Organizing Committee.
■本会参展企业为独立法人企业。展场内展示的企业名称、展品类别和品牌名称必须与申请表中所填内容一致。
■The Exhibitor should be an independent legal person. The company name, exhibit category and brand name to be displayed during the exhibition should be the same as given in the application form.
■展品质量和知识产权由参展企业自行负责。
■Exhibit quality and intellectual property rights should be sole responsibility of the exhibitor.
■未经组委会书面同意，参展企业不得将展位转让他人。
■Booths should not be transferred without written consent of the Organizing Committee.
■获得组委会书面确认函后，参展企业须于8月30日前一次性付清展位租金，方有权获得参展。
■Full payment should be made before August 30 on written confirmation of the Organizing Committee.
■展位需特装的参展企业，须在规定的时间内将展位设计图交组委会审核，获同意后方可实施。
■The raw-space exhibitor should send the design plan to the Organizing Committee for approval within a specific period of time.
